I tried SDL for input and it will not work no matter what I try.
Is their any other input librarie aside from direct input that will handle logitech dual action gamepads?.

SDL works fine with the Logitech Dual Action gamepad -- I've used it several times -- and this is at least your fourth post on the same topic:

  • Input system for gamepads/joysticks - You asked how to use SDL with Code:Blocks and Reed linked to a tutorial, to which you responded that you couldn't find any tutorials.
  • SDL joystick handling with multiple sticks - This thread displayed your lack of basic C programming knowledge, and had you not started a new thread to ask the same question we could have suggested material on bitwise operators.
  • How do I map buttons for SDL - In this case it does not appear that you are checking whether the joystick is initialized properly.

The answers in each case have been more than adequate if not timely. It's obvious that you are not putting enough effort in on your part to solve YOUR problem. In my most humble opinion, you are simply spamming the forum and pissing off at least one person who was trying to help.

A forum is a conversational medium, but you are treating it like an expert sex change.

...and my JwN meter and been low for SOOO long!!!

Damn it, 3DModelerMan!!! The problem with trying to present yourself as advanced on something that you obviously are not, is that after people notice you're misleading... even if you are really advanced on something else... who will believe in you now?

So, following the logic... you probably know how to build a cube using 3DSMAX and are presenting yourself as a 3D modeler?

Think about that.

Sorry, I'm not as much of a programmer as a modeler, I just have'nt been able to get SDL working for some reason even though I do everything in the tutorials. I'm gonna try OIS instead. And if that does'nt work come back to SDL later.
