How do you like the Olympics so far? How is your country doing? Anything Olympic related is welcome.
America seems to be doing pretty well. I really like the opening ceremony, well the parts I saw anyways. I got bored watching the flags being carried out when they were introducing the countries.

I heard the opening ceremony was really neat. I'm not too interested in the sports, honestly, but it is still kind of awesome to have the most accomplished individuals from all around the world meeting in one place for a celebration of their skill and accomplishments. It sorta makes me feel like maybe humans can get along with each other after all.

I liked the opening very much. I thought that a huge country like China would do an opening well worth watching, and indeed they did. How are any following countries supposed to match that?
I got someone to record the opening from TV, but the tape ran out before the torch was lit :p
But the first half an hour featured fireworks like I've never seen before, part of the fireworks were timed to display footprints walking over the city.
At one point masses of performers ran around with lights on their suits and it looked like coordinated masses of glowing stick figures. Maybe like a stylized HDR stick figure game :D
But I'm never interested in TV sports though, to be honest. Somehow I can't relate to the competitors on TV, even if I like some sports in reality.
I feel like that too, just all the people in one place reduces the distance that other times causes cold-hearted and sometimes fatal political decisions.

Olympic was very good!
I am from Hong Kong and i must admit that China did a really great job in the Olympics
China can get along with the countries
who say she can't? it is just the television that made China look bad in the news.
In real life China is a very peace loving and great country.
Don't trust all things you see from the tv
:)
Add oil beijing and other countries
