Cocos2d-x is an open source game engine under MIT License, started since July 2010. Cocos2d-x supports developers to exploit their existing C++, Lua and Javascript knowledge for cross-platform deployment into iOS, Android, WinPhone, BlackBerry, Tizen, etc., saving time, effort and cost. Cocos2d-html5 is a branch of Cocos2d-x which works on HTML5-ready browsers on desktop PCs, tablets and mobile phones.
